Sample Public Relations Projects for Tecnomatix Technologies
Following are links to samples of my writing for Tecnomatix Technologies – including press releases, Web content, and others – as well as many of the elements of an extremely high-visibility and complex joint technology and product development partnership campaign that I managed and ensured that all of the elements were well integrated and supported the partnership strategy. I worked closely with media representatives, including senior editors, as well as the industry analysts, to review and edit their articles and reports – in one case, I virtually rewrote one analyst’s major report on the Tecnomatix product line, brand, and positioning to bring it up to date and eliminate inaccuracies; the analyst praised my work and assistance, and published his report with nearly all of my edits intact. I served as Director of PR and Corporate Communications for Tecnomatix from 2000-2004.

When Tecnomatix entered into a highly strategic joint product development partnership with EDS (later UGS, and now part of Siemens Corp.), we needed to ceate an innovative, content-rich library of collateral. As part of the promotion of this partnership launch, I worked directly with executives at both Tecnomatix and EDS to write the press releases, sales guide materials, FAQ sheets, and other materials for both internal and external audiences. I also worked directly with industry analysts to brief them on the partnership and the positioning of the technologies, and solicited their reports analyzing the partnership.
We created a special “mini-Web site” on the Tecnomatix site, devoted to the partnership, complete with quotes from the principal executives involved, press releases from both companies, white papers, feature articles, FAQ sheets, and analyst reports.
I also worked closely, on my own initiative, with the management of EDS/UGS, to create a page on their site for the Tecnomatix product line, with links back to the Tecnomatix site for more information.
